I use Talkhora for Prot, Dunkoro for heal, I think someone on this forum pointed out that Dunkoro heals better and Talk prots better.
Just don't give him any 10-e spammable spells and no more than 2 heals, otherwise he spams them and runs out of energy.
I use
[skill]Divine Spirit[/skill][skill]Dwayna's Kiss[/skill][skill]Light of Deliverance[/skill] or [skill]Healer's Boon[/skill][skill]Healing Touch[/skill][skill]Healing Seed[/skill][skill]Leader's Zeal[/skill][skill]Deny Hexes[/skill][skill]Aegis[/skill]
12+2+1 Heal, 10+1 DF, 8+1 Prot
Healing alone can't keep a team alive though, that might be your problem. Normally you'd want someone to protect as well.
[skill]Divine Spirit[/skill][skill]Aegis[/skill][skill]Reversal of Fortune[/skill][skill]Shield of Absorption[/skill][skill]Protective Spirit[/skill][skill]Offering of Spirit[/skill][skill]Deny Hexes[/skill][skill]Dismiss Condition[/skill]
11+2+1 Prot, 10+1 DF, 10 Channeling
You'd need someone carrying spirits so he won't sac health using Offering of Spirit. I use him with Razah as resto with Recuperation and Life, the two of them can keep a party alive fine.

Try this:
[skill]Shield of Regeneration[/skill][skill]Reversal of Fortune[/skill][skill]Gift of Health[/skill][skill]Shield of Absorption[/skill][skill]Aegis[/skill][skill]Dismiss Condition[/skill][skill]Blessed Aura[/skill][skill]Glyph of Lesser Energy[/skill]
Protection Prayers: 12 + 1 + 3 = 16
Healing Prayers: 9 + 1 = 10
Divine Favor: 9 + 1 = 10
Weapon: Kephket's Refuge or the Yakslapper are both fine. You're after energy bonuses and enchantment duration upgrades.
My opinion for hex removal is that you shouldn't bother unless you plan to use an elite for it. The vast majority of hexes are not overly harmful, but even if you do run into devastating hexes, you can't rely on a hero's judgment for spot removal to help, and you're likely so mired in hexes that your spot removal won't be adequate.

11(+2+1) Healing
10(+1) Protection
10 Divine
Rebirth is usually disabled and use it only as a last resort.

If you are using LoD, you need to manually use them as the hero won't use LoD until 3 or more party members are below 80% hp.
Gift of Health and Dismiss conditions may require you to manually use them as well.
If you can micro them well, dunkoro can own any human monk in pve.

It's a problem coz 2 people might be getting the hell bashed out of them and dunk still won't use LoD to heal the pair of them. Basically, he ends up spamming to heal the pair of them and runs out of energy. Not fun.

Dunkoro uses LoD very effectively from what I've seen.
And usually uses RoF and Other to save others.

I'm thinking of taking LoD on Dunkoro, but does Dunkoro use LoD is a party's minions are also below 80%? Or does LoD only affect party members and not allies? If it works on allies it would be nice on a dual minion master team.

Thats actually a bad thing, especially if your running a minion bombing build. Any competent (Read: Hero) MM can micro his / her own minions without the small aid of a Monk spamming skills on them. If anything its a waste of time and energy that should be spent healing party members, but what can you do....

Sorry I am so dumb
But I can not understand why so many protection monk builds have shield of absorbtion on them. As I read the skill description, it reduces damage by 5 each time character is hit for a maximum of 7 seconds. This does not seem like a huge benefit, even if you have protective spirit on that other char. Lets assume that they have a few runes on, so they have 400 max health. Prot Spirit reduces health loss on a single attack to 40. Does SoA reduce it to 35 (40 -5) or to 8 (40 / 5)? If the latter then I can see that it is significant, if the former it seems useless.
I suppose I should test this but I just assumed it only reduced it by 5 and not a factor of 5.

It reduces it by 5, then 10, then 15 so will eventually nullify damage completely.
It is really badly worded, i first thought it was a shit version of shielding hands.

nice. i didn't realize that either.
btw, don't use [skill]word of healing[/skill]. the ai is completely ignorant of the conditional bonus heal.
also, i've mixed up prot and healing on both. the only difference between them is the gear they come with.
one thing i noticed (which is probably a coincidence) is dunkoro used [skill]signet of rejuvenation[/skill] to heal while he had [skill]backfire[/skill] on him. that is usually the extent of e-management that i throw on a healing monk (and all 5e heals).
i usually use [skill]glimmer of light[/skill] for the healing monk elite beause the animation effect is really cool. lod also only gives the df bonus on the caster if i recall which turns me off. i hesitate to use condition/hex-removal on a healer because they will spam it at the expense of healing (and because i could just put it on koss or something with about the same affect). with prot i do use the crap out of [skill]restore condition[/skill] but that's just because it's also a 74+42 minimum heal with 16 prot and 13 df. otherwise i leave the condition/hex removal off the monks' bars.
just a matter of taste and what the rest of the group looks like. i'm just an e-wuss though.
i've also been trying to figure out how to use smiting to elaborate on prot skills (not for damage but as a disincentive to attack)

Though I have little experience with heroes (just got nightfall), I've played a monk long enough to tell you that [skill]Aegis[/skill] and [skill]Light of Deliverance[/skill] are a MUST. If you don't have LoD, use [skill]Healer's Boon[/skill] - not the same, but a very nice spell in a bind.
